ASSOCIATION OF NIKOLA TESLA KARLOVAC On February 25, 2017, the Association of Nikola Tesla was founded in Karlovac.
The aim of the association is the promotion of the name of Nikola Tesla, primarily in Karlovac, education of Karlovac citizens in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM sciences), encouragement of young people for inclusion in the work of scientific institutions, public awareness of the importance of Nikola Tesla and his character and works , the use of technical, economic and other potentials, the strengthening of competitiveness and the overall development of Karlovac's economy, to a greater standard of all citizens of Karlovac.
WORKING PLAN OF ASSOCATION NIKOLA TESLA KARLOVAC FOR 2017.
Maintain Robotic Summer School for Primary and Secondary School Students (at Karlovac Technical School).
Hold a public lecture in the area of STEM (science, technology, engineering, math).
(one held, another two in preparation)
Initiate cooperation between businesses, health care organizations and other subjects in solving technical-technological problems by the help of University of Karlovac.
Consultations with the Karlovac Gymnasium on further steps towards the realization of the Laboratory of Nikola Tesla.

Održati ljetnu školu robotike za učenike osnovnih i srednjih škola (u Tehničkoj školi Karlovac)
Održati jedno javno predavanje iz područja ZTIM-a (znanost, tehnologije, inženjerstvo, matematika). – jedno održano, još jedno u pripremi
Inicirati suradnju gospodarskih, zdravstvenih i drugih subjekata u rješavanju tehničko-tehnoloških problema (tih subjekata i šire) u okviru Veleučilišta u Karlovcu
Konzultacije s Gimnazijom Karlovac o daljnjim koracima prema realizaciji Laboratorija Nikole Tesle.
THE AIM OF THE ASSOCIATION IS:

- helping Karlovac Gymnasium to arrange the laboratory of physics, where Tesla learned, to be accessible to the public
- Help in equipping laboratories at Karlovac Polytechnic, Karlovac Gymnasium, Karlovac Technical School, and Karlovac innovation centers.
- help building and equipping the museum-laboratory "Nikola Tesla Karlovac"
- tracking development and achievements of inventive creativity, technical culture and technology in the world
- cooperation with business in the field of high technology in Karlovac, Republic of Croatia and abroad
